Sinopse:
Os ThunderCats são uma espécie de humanóides felinos, oriundos do planeta Thundera. após testemunharem a destruição de Thundera, um grupo de ThunderCats usa uma nave para fugir de seu planeta natal, mas acabam sendo perseguidos por um grupo de mutantes mercenários, responsáveis pela destruição de Thundera. o grupo, composto por Lion-O ( o mais jovem deles ), Panthro, Tygra, Cheetara, os gêmeos WilyKit e WilyKat, e Snarf, estavam sendo liderados por Jaga, que se oferece para pilotar a nave e acaba morrendo no processo. o restante dos ThunderCats entram em estado de hibernação dentro de suas respectivas cápsulas, onde ficam por décadas. quando acordam, Lion-O foi o único que cresceu, enquanto a idade dos demais permaneceu inalterada. os ThunderCats descobrem que caíram em um planeta conhecido como Terceiro Mundo e lá estabelecem uma base e começam a explorar o planeta, descobrindo vários povos que acabam tornando-se aliados dos ThunderCats. agora, os ThunderCats, liderados por Lion-O, terão que proteger o Terceiro Mundo contra as forças de Mumm-Ra, um feiticeiro maligno que passa a liderar os mutantes na tentativa de conquistar o Terceiro Mundo.
Synopsis:
The ThunderCats are catlike humanoid aliens from the planet Thundera. after witnessing the destruction of Thundera, a group of ThunderCats use a space ship to escape from their birth planet, but they are chased by a group of mutants mercenaries, who are responsable for the Thundera’s destruction. the group, composed by Lion-O ( the most young of them ), Panthro, Tygra, Cheetara, the twin WilyKit and Wily Kat, and Snarf, was being led by Jaga, who offers himself to pilot the space ship and dies during the process. the others ThunderCats enter in a state of hibernation inside of their respective capsules, where they stay for decades. when they awake, Lion-O is the only that has grown up, while the age of the others was not altered. the ThunderCats find that they fell into a planet known as the Third-Earth and there they build a base and begins to explore the planet, discovering a lot of people who become allies of the ThunderCats. now, the ThunderCats, being lead by Lion-O, have to protect the Third-Earth against the forces of Mumm-Ra, an evil sorcerer who leads the mutants to try to conquer the Third-Earth.
